Nicole Daskas is an interdisciplinary artist currently pursuing an MFA at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Her practice deals with issues such as femicide, safety, and visibility. Daskas's recent work explores horror and monstrosity, particularly within the transition from girlhood to womanhood. The artist often works with spiderwebs, often using them as representations of domestic space and femininity. She works predominantly across performance, fibers, writing, and photography.
